I’m drawn to personality, presence, attitude, vulnerability, confidence, awkwardness, and all the small details that make someone feel individual. I like images that have a sense of tension or intimacy, and I’m often most interested in the moment just before or just after something feels fully composed. My approach to photography is both intuitive and intentional, and I care deeply about light, composition, color, texture, casting, styling, and the overall visual world around a shoot.

At the same time, I want there to be enough space for something unplanned to happen. I like working closely with the people in front of my camera and creating an environment where they can bring something of themselves into the image. I work across editorial, fashion, portraiture, commercial commissions, and personal projects. Each project is different, but I’m always looking for a visual language that feels specific to the person, the clothes, the location, and the story we’re creating together.

I’m especially drawn to collaborations where there is room to experiment, with designers, stylists, artists, models, brands, and other creatives. For me, photography is a way of observing people and translating a feeling into an image. Sometimes that feeling is quiet, sometimes it is direct, sometimes strange, playful, raw, elegant, or somewhere in between. I’m based in Amsterdam and available for editorial, commercial, and commissioned projects worldwide.
